Submissions open your mail client addressed to [email protected]. Read by a human, usually within a week. We do not auto-respond and we do not subscribe you to anything.

What makes a good tip

Primary sources are what move a tip from “interesting” to “drafting.” If the incident has a published official report, a regulatory filing, a court document, or a credible operator statement, share it. If it only has reporting about reporting about the event, we are probably not the right venue.

What we cannot do

We do not investigate stories. We analyze what is already documented. If you are a journalist working a story, we are not the right venue — though if you publish, we may analyze your reporting alongside primary sources.
